Did You Know You Can Rent an Entire Grand Rapids City Pool For a Private Party?
When I was a kid, about the coolest kind of birthday party you could have was a pool party. Makes it kind of tough when you don't have a pool though... well, the City of Grand Rapids has a solution!

Grand Rapids City Pools Available for Private Rental
Since 2022, all three Grand Rapids City pools are available for private rental for up to 100 people.
Rentals are only available on Sundays from 4:30p.m.to 6:30 p.m. and cost $400 for two hours.

If you're invested in reserving a date, you must do so two weeks in advance. You can reserve your date here.
A full lifeguard staff will be on duty during all rentals. All pool features like slides and sprinklers will be open to use during your rental.
Concessions won't be open, but you can bring your own food and drinks - excluding alcohol.
Decorations are allowed, as long as they don't damage property. A speaker is available to play your own music. Note that it must be family friendly and kept to a reasonable volume.
When Are Grand Rapids City Pools Open in 2024?
City of Grand Rapids pools are open June 7 through August 17, 2024. Hours vary by pool. Find more information on City Pools and Splash Pads here.
Where are the Grand Rapids City Pools?
The City of Grand Rapids has three pools:
Briggs Park Pool (350 Knapp St. NE)
Martin Luther King Park Pool (900 Fulle Ave. SE)
Richmond Park Pool (1101 Richmond St. NW)
How Much Does it Cost to to Visit a Grand Rapids City Pool?
Outside of private parties, admission is $1 for Grand Rapids residents under 17, residents 18 and over are $3. For non-residents under 17 it's $3 and for those over 17, it's $5.
