The brew co. shared the news on social media, saying:

50 states! It only took 22 years, but we did it, friends.The gorgeous Hawaiian Islands will be our 50th state of distribution and beer is shipping out right now, with launch events taking place as soon as next week!"

Founders has partnered with Odom Hawaii. They'll be starting out with cans and draft beer. Brands available in Hawaii will be: All Day IPA, Solid Gold, Rubaeus and Breakfast Stout.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Founders is the first Michigan brewery to distribute in all 50 states.

According to MLive, CEO and Co-Founder Mike Stevens said,

My partner Dave and I are very excited to announce that Founders will be heading to Hawaii!”It’s always a special time whenever we add a state of distribution and the fact that Hawaii is our 50th state makes it all the more worthy of celebration. It’s long been a dream of ours to see our beer across the US, and the fact that 22+ years later we’ve accomplished this is a testament to our Founders team and our amazing wholesaler partners.Tonight, we raise a glass to the Aloha state and thank everyone throughout America who’s helped us get to where we are today."
