Recently I told you about Thunder Acres Highlands, a farm in Sand Lake where you can hang out with Miniature Highland Cows - and now I've got another place to visit and pet adorable animals.

A Yak or 2 Great Lakes Ranch is located in Mancelona, Mich.

The owners say their ranching adventure began when they decided to get a yak... or two. They found their passion and now their heard has grown to more than forty animals.

They invite the public to come hang out with their yaks!

A Yak or 2 Ranch's summer season runs May through October. They offer public tours 10a.m. to 4p.m. each day, for $10 per guest. You can also book a private tour and check out the farm shop. The ranch also hosts special events like weddings.

The Ranch's Yak Fest is also coming up! Yak Fest is a free family event Saturday October 7, 10a.m. to 5p.m.

There will be wagon rides, a pumpkin patch to explore, kids activities, play area, walking trails, live music, and merchandise stalls.

Plus you'll get to hang out with and learn all about yaks!

Free cider, donuts, and coffee will be survived until 11a.m. while supplies last.
