A liquor store in Muskegon Heights unexpectedly had a drive through added to the store when a woman backed her SUV through the front of the store.

According to WZZM, 37-year-old Samantha Baxter put her SUV in reverse Tuesday night around 7 p.m. and crashed through the front of Blue Bird's Packaged Liquor on Hoyt Street. Baxter took out the front door and hit a delivery driver who was bringing in supplies to the store.

Before the SUV made its way inside the establishment, store clerks noticed her driving erratically before the crash.

Blue Bird's owners son, Summet Singh told WZZM-13, "I don't know if she saw something but she went into reverse and she came 60 or 70 miles an hour and came right back and right into the front of the store."

The delivery man that was hit suffered severe injuries and had to be taken to Hackley Hospital then was transferred to a Grand Rapids hospital.

Baxter, who was no stranger to the long arm of the law, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and causing injury as a habitual offender.
