West Michigan Severe Thunderstorm Watch Update
With the rains and wind hitting the West Michigan are today, there are a lot of objects blown into roadways, power outages scattered around the area, and flooded streets. There's more coming this evening, so be safe on your way home this afternoon!
There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 9pm tonight for Kent county and the surrounding areas, with more rain, lightning, and high winds expected.
There's even potential for hail throughout the evening.
There's more severe weather in northern Illinois, all moving northeast toward the Grand Rapids area, so expect more throughout the afternoon and evening.
