Prior to the release of the music video, the website WorstIsOnItsWay.com played a loop of a black and white video that asked the question,

"You wake up in a cold sweat. Is it still night? There are no windows in this room. You realize this isn't the room you fell asleep in. You hear a buzzing sound and see that a wasp has landed on your arm. What do you do?"

You were given two options... to kill or spare the wasp.

Korn singer Jonathan Davis talked with Metal Hammer earlier this year about "Worst Is On Its Way", saying,

Right now everything is going good, but always in the back of my head I’m just waiting for that next bad thing to happen. I thought it was an amazing way to end the record because it's all about me battling the darkness and coming out on top, but life is a never-ending loop and there’s always more bullshit ahead!

The music video was directed by Craig Bernard and Culley Bunker and shows Korn performing as individual members of the band decompose into animated particles with a series of visual effects.

Korn's latest album Requiem was released February 4, 2022 and debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The band recently announced a summer tour with Evanescence that kicks off August 16. The tour includes a Michigan stop: Korn and Evanescence will be rocking Pine Knob August 21, 2022.
