Metal rockers Deftones took part in the Epicenter Festival in Irvine, Calif. this past weekend, performing Saturday night (September 22) at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. The band played a brand new track called "Leathers" live for the very first time, which you can watch below.

The Epicenter Festival featured bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Chevelle, Bush, Halloween Hellraiser artist Dead Sara and more. Deftones seized the opportunity to share new material from their upcoming album, Koi No Yokan, due out November 13. As BLABBERMOUTH reports, the record is produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who worked with the group on 2010's Diamond Eyes.

As you can tell by the frantic pace of "Leathers," Deftones have not mellowed with age. Frontman Chino Moreno snarls the lyrics with unrestrained aggression that should make longtime fans happy. Deftones are currently offering the song as a free digital download on their official website. You can also listen to the studio version of "Leathers" by scrolling down past the video.
