Want to Laugh a Lot and Maybe Meet Women in GR? Go See Avenue Q

I did something different last night. Something I didn't think I would ever do, but so many people have told me about how fun it is, and I caved.

I went and saw a musical. Avenue Q, at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre.

I know, I know. But this musical is really funny, and adult. Not like most musicals, where the singing just seems out of place and silly. These songs are silly on purpose, and make fun of a lot of things, which I like.

But, as I told a friend, there's muppet sex in there, so you know it's going to be entertaining, at least. The singing was super happy, which I could take or leave, but the story was fun, the characters funny...and there's was one thing I didn't expect, but I should have.

Holy cow! I know Ned did musicals because it's his thing, but I'd totally go to more if I could meet women like that! Haha...no seriously. Guys, if you're looking for something to do that girls like, and doesn't suck, go see Avenue Q, running through June 14th.
