If you're all about embracing the fall season but need a little something stronger than a PSL, there's always pumpkin beer & some of the best are right here in Michigan.

Thrillist compiled a list of the Best Pumpkin Beers in America for 2019 that way all the basic bros are content this Autumn. Out of 15 pumpkin beers, two from Michigan were listed as the best:

New Holland Ichabod which is a pumpkin ale with 4.5% ABV. Thrillist says:

Taking a whiff of this brew rewards you with loads of nutmeg aroma, but the taste is not the pumpkin-spice bomb you’re expecting. It’s a restrained take on the pumpkin brew, with more hops (26 IBUs) than most offerings in the liquid-gourd space, and it results in an easy-sipping beer that doesn’t immediately remind you of dessert served at the Thanksgiving table.

The other is Jolly Pumpkin La Parcela because obvi! The brewery has pumpkin in its name. The funny thing is, Jolly Pumpkin is known for not brewing pumpkin in their beer until now and it actually worked out for them. La Parcela is a sour ale with a stronger alcohol content than the latter with 5.9% ABV.

This beautiful, bubbly oak-aged ale gets all the pumpkin notes right, with a hint of cocoa on the back of the tongue. "Guess now folks will have to find something else to joke about," reads the bottle. All right, JP. How about a Blue Raspberry Jolly Rancher saison?!
