New Asian Fusion Restaurant Opens in Holland This Week
A new Asian fusion restaurant in Holland, Mich., is serving up tasty food for those with vegan diets all the way to meat lovers.
Up Leaf Café is opening this week at 12371 James St. Suite 40 in Holland. The grand opening is set for Friday, October 27th.
The owners are MaryLou and Sonny Lam. Up Leaf Café was born out MaryLou’s passion for food. She’s spent years in and out of restaurants, learning to cook from her mom, and cooking out of her kitchen during the pandemic.
The café offers Asian fusion cuisine with flavors from southeast Asia with a twist, including their Wasabi Mayo and Asian Chipotle signature sauces.
Up Leaf's menu includes rice bowls, rice noodle bowls, salads, and rice wrappers.
You can choose from options like Vietnamese Pork, Korean Style Pork, Tofu, Asian Ginger Chicken, and Asian Chipotle Chicken.
You also have the option to build your own bowl, salad, or wrapper! There are gluten-free options too.
There's also plant-based energy drinks and blended beverages. Smoothie options include Caramel Apple, Pumpkin Cookie, and Berry Bliss.
During the grand opening Friday October 27, the restaurant is open during their normal hours - 11a.m. to 8p.m. There will be a a special treat for those who arrive between 4 and 6p.m.
A ribbon cutting is happening at 4:30p.m., and there will be live entertainment and free samples. Up Leaf is also offering a 10% discount on all food and drinks throughout the day. You'll have a chance to win prizes, including gift cards!
