Two Michigan Cities in the Running for ‘Best Main Street’ in the U.S.

Michigan has a lot to boast about: great beer, beaches, food-- and pretty awesome downtowns!

Two cities in Michigan are in the running for "Best Main Street" in America in a USA Today and 10 Best readers' poll.

Both Ann Arbor and Howell, Mich. are in the running! 

USA Today experts have selected 20 of their favorite main streets:

Beautiful architecture, a sense of history, locally-owned business and community-centric spaces – these elements are what make our country's main streets so inviting, and so quintessentially American. We've enlisted a panel of main street and downtown revitalization experts to help us pick 20 nominees for the Readers' Choice category Best Main Street."

Now it's up to a public vote to determine the top ten!
