Just one Michigan orchard is up for the honor (which, if you ask me, there should be WAY more).
it's Knaebe's Apple Farm in Rogers City! The orchard also goes by another name, which is awesome: "Knaebe's Mmmunchy Krunchy Apple Farm".
Doc and Dusty Knaebe planted the first apple trees on the farm in 1985. From there it has grown to include a bakery, petting zoo, and tasting room serving wood-fired pizza and hard cider.
Of course you'll find plenty of u-pick apples and pumpkins! Knaebe's has sweet corn and peaches too. Plus, there's games like horseshoes and cornhole, plus wagon and barrel train rides for the kiddos!
In the fall you'll find Knaebe's is great for leaf peeping, and it late summer, take in their gorgeous sunflowers.
