Fans of a unique Grand Haven restaurant serving hand-crafted sandwiches, soups, and salads have a new West Michigan location to visit!

Grand Haven's Toasted Pickle Opens New Location in Rockford

Toasted Pickle in Rockford is officially open at 17 Squires Street Square NE.

It's the former location of Ramona's Table.

Owners Jim and Karen Avery opened the original Toasted Pickle at 112 Washington Ave in Grand Haven in 2016. I was just in Grand Haven a couple weekends ago, and the line for Toasted Pickle was out the door - as it seems like it often is!

A few years back, the eatery was featured on the Discovery Channel Show "Road Trip Masters". It was also on the Food Network Show "Seaside Snacks and Shacks" back in 2018.

Jim told MLive earlier this year,

We just want to entertain more people... Things are going well there [at the Grand Haven location]. We just really want to get an opportunity to serve more people and introduce the beer, wine and cocktails. That’s something we don’t think we’ll ever do in Grand Haven.

According to the Toasted Pickle's website, beer and wine are currently available a the new Rockford restaurant, and craft cocktails are coming next week.

Toasted Pickle Rockford is open seven days a week, 11a.m. to 8p.m.

What Kind Of Food Can You Get at Toasted Pickle?

The new Rockford Toasted Pickle, like the original in Grand Haven, serves a variety of unique sandwiches and burgers.

You'll find the Get Pickled Grilled Cheese, which features gooey grilled with house Pimento Cheese, sweet hottie pickles, dill pickles and bacon.

The Crusty Cuban is house-made pulled pork, sweet and spicy pickles, smoked bacon, and tangy aioli on a hoagie.

Toasted Pickle Rockford serves soup and salads too, like the Michigan Cherry Salad which features baby greens, diced red onion, dried cherries, candied pecan pieces, goat cheese, and herbed croutons with herb vinaigrette dressing.

You'll also find Pickle Poppers, Mac and Cheese, Truffle Fries, and more!

The new location also serves dinners like BBQ Meatloaf, Crunchy Whitefish, and Pork Chop Picatta.
