This Woman’s Touching Story About A Walmart Interaction Is Completely Made Up [Video]
Paige Yore of Pueblo, Colorado posted a heartfelt, touching video blog on Facebook a few days ago about an interaction she had with an employee at the local Walmart.
In the video, she describes the scene as the cashier was having trouble ringing up the order of the woman in line in front of Yore. At one point, she says that the woman yelled at the cashier, causing him to break down in tears, walk around the corner and hug Yore. She says that he then told her that his mother had just committed suicide that morning, but he had to work to pay the rent. Touching, right? Well, unfortunately it's all made up.
A spokesperson from Walmart said that while Yore was in the store that morning and there was a slight confrontation between the cashier and a shopper, the cashier did not hug Yore and his mother is still 100% alive. So why would she do this? Facebook Likes? Attention? Money? Probably all of the above.
