This Guy Fails Miserably At Trying To Jump A Closing Drawbridge [Video]

If you have ever driven over a drawbridge, you have fantasized about jumping it with your car. Not "probably" or "maybe" thought about it, you have absolutely wanted to try it. Luckily, some idiot did it for you to prove just how bad of an idea it is!

It happened in the Netherlands, where the 56-year-old driver failed miserably at clearing the gap and slammed head-on into the closing portion of the bridge. Somehow, he didn't break his neck from the crash and barely avoided the car being sandwiched by the bridge.

The police report says that the injuries he received were actually from when he attempted to climb back up the ledge. However, failed at that too, and fell back down into the water. This guy just had a really bad day.
