Things To Do This Weekend: June 17-19, 2022
Looking for something to do this weekend? The weather looks great with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 70s. We have over a dozen events for you to choose from over the next couple of days. There is everything from carnivals, to golf, to mac and cheese, or brats and beer. There is also music, hot air balloons, chalk art. There are also Pride and Juneteenth festivals.
Three Rivers Water Festival
Thursday, June 16-Saturday, June 18, 2022 - Scidmore Park, Three Rivers, MI

Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give
Thursday, June 16-Sunday, June 19, 2022 - Blythefield Country Club, Grand Rapids, MI

Don McLean is out touring for his 50th Anniversary "American Pie" tour. That song was first recorded in May of 1971 and a month later received its first play on the radio. The rest is history!

Hudsonville Balloon Days
Friday, June 17-Saturday, June 18, 2022 - Unity Christian High School, Hudsonville, MI
This is a family fun community event. There will be Balloon Flights Friday & Saturday evening and Saturday morning! The ever popular Balloon Glows will take place at sunset both Friday & Saturday evenings. There will be have local Food Trucks and vendors along with Arts & Craft vendors each day from 4-10 pm. The amazing and talented group “Hark Up” will be providing entertainment both days from 4-9 pm! Parking will be a $10 donation. West Michigan Chalk Art Festival

The Byron Community Wellness Foundation sponsors and welcomes artists and visitors back to the West Michigan Chalk Art Festival. They are working to have a bigger, better, and safe return to this exciting and colorful festival. Bring out the whole family, friends, neighbors. You can participate as an artist or just walk, view, and experience the art at your feet. There are so many incredible pieces of chalk art on the sidewalks during this festival. South Haven Harborfest

Sparta Beer & Brat Street Festival
Friday, June 17-Saturday, June 18, 2022 - Sparta, MI
Enjoy local beers, brats, shopping, and games (for ages 18+) in downtown Sparta during the Beer & Brat Street Fest! Custom craft beers will be matched up with mouthwatering brats cooked on site. There will also be live music, artisan vendors, and food trucks. This is an all-new adult-geared event that will feature locally sourced brats and custom brewed beer. Games for those 18+ include fowling, axe throwing, mechanical bull riding, and more! This event is free to walk around and enjoy the ambiance (no admission fee) and tickets will be sold, or you can purchase a $35 package that includes mechanical bull riding, axe throwing, and beer drinking for those 21 and over! Spring GR Juneteenth
Saturday, June 18, 2022 - John Ball Zoo, Grand Rapids, MI
Juneteenth Independence Day/Emancipation Day/Freedom Day commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is a day to celebrate and pay homage to African American freedom. Juneteenth Fest will feel like a community BBQ. There will be live music, food grilling, people dancing, kids playing, people shopping at over 100 vendors, and hanging out. Kalamazoo Irish Fest

After a 2-year hiatus, Irish Fest is back for its 20th anniversary! Admission is $15 for the full day; children younger than 13 are free with a parent or guardian. Presented by the United Dairy Industry of Michigan: Milk Means More. Outlier Events is partnering with the Kalamazoo Growlers to host the 4th annual Mac & Cheese Festival. This event highlights local food vendors and their unique take on mac and cheese. There will also be a variety of beer samples and milk stations on the field.
