After being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ShowSpan has released their schedule for their shows that will be returning to the DeVos Place Convention Center in the coming months.

It all kicks off with the 8th Annual Grand Rapids Remodeling & New Homes Show on January 14-16, 2022. If you are like me, you love walking around and checking out the builders, remodelers, and all the home improvement services. I always walk away from this show with several changes I want to make to the house. You can get more information at BuildRemodelGR.com.

The following week, January 20-23, 2022 is the show for all of us campers! The 16th Annual Grand Rapids Camper, Travel & RV Show is all about creating the best family vacation. Several West Michigan RV dealers are at this show, ready to sell you a new motor home, travel trailer, fifth wheel, or even a folding camping trailer. See more at GrandRapidsRVShow.com.

Car enthusiasts will want to put February 3-6, 2022 on their calendar. It will be the 24th Annual Michigan International Auto Show moving into DeVos Place. What will your next new vehicle be? You have an opportunity to see the new models and do some comparison shopping. Also be sure to check out the cars we can't afford in the Million Dollar Motorway. Gilmore Car Museum is also scheduled to be there with some of their antique classics. More details are available at GRAutoShow.com.

Golfers look forward to the West Michigan Golf Show, in it's 34th year. It will be February 11-13, 2022. Check out and purchase new equipment and learn about some of the best courses in the state and beyond. More information is available at WestMichiganGolfShow.com.

In the middle of February, with all the cold and snow, we need to start thinking about spring! It's a perfect time to check out yachts, fishing boats, pontoons, and kayaks at the 77th Annual Grand Rapids Boat Show. All the details can be found at GRBoatShow.com.

The theme of "thinking spring" continues for the 43rd Annual West Michigan Home & Garden Show on March 3-6, 2022. Come and learn what you need for your home and garden once all the snow melts. Walking around this show gives you hope that spring is just around the corner! The website GRHomeShow.com has additional information.

For those that love fishing, hunting, and the outdoors...the 77th Annual Ultimate Sport Show is for you. It will be March 10-13, 2022. There will be over 300 exhibitors with the latest in outdoor gear, travel information, and of course fishing boats. For more information, check out UltimateSportShow.com.

Wrapping up the Showspan season will be the 16th Annual Cottage & Lakefront Living Show on March 25-27, 2022. This show is for those who are thinking about buying, building, or those who already own a cottage or lakefront home. All the details can be found on the GRCotttageShow.com website.

Mark the dates on your calendar as we count down the days until spring! For more information on ShowSpan, and information about all the shows they put together -- not only in Grand Rapids, but also in Detroit, Milwaukee, and Lansing -- visit their website at www.ShowSpan.com.

Many of the automobiles at the Auto Show will be hybrid and electric vehicles. As we all try to cut down our gasoline consumption and how much it costs -- check out the list below...

LOOK: See how much gasoline cost the year you started driving

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
