Theory of a Deadman Rocked Grand Rapids at the Intersection on Sunday Night
Sunday night, Theory of a Deadman hit Grand Rapids with Ayron Jones for a great show at the Intersection! WGRD even got to get some ticket winners in to meet the band before the show, and even get first in line when doors open, and that's always a blast.
First up, Ayron Jones and hit trio hit the stage for a kick ass set of blues rock. And these guy are awesome! Not too heavy, but not too soft, either, these guys came to rock. They even did a really great version of the Hendrix classic "Voodoo Chile", that also included an amazing "Star Spangled Banner" in honor of our service men and woman around the world.. Ayron can freaking PLAY, man. If you get the chance, check out his shows, and his new album, Audio Paint Job.
Then, Theory hit the stage with "Low Life", and proceeded to rock the crowd with tons of great songs from their catalog, as well as some new stuff from their upcoming album, Wake Up Call, which comes out October 27th.
The guys sound fantastic every time they come through town, and Sunday night was no different. Any time you get a chance to see Theory, take it, they're a great band, and a lot of fun. Follow Tyler on Instagram, too, he's really funny!
