The Votes Are In – The Best Taco in Grand Rapids Is…

Modelo and WGRD set out to find the best taco in town!

Starting April 5 designated restaurants served their version of the best taco out there. Voting took place from April 6 through May 4, 2021 and the winner can now be announced!

It was a close race, with Donkey Taqueria, Condado Tacos and Cinco de Mayo in downtown Grand Rapids going back and forth for the lead. But, in the end, the winner is...

Cinco de Mayo in Downtown Grand Rapids! 

Cinco de Mayo's featured taco was a hard shell chipotle chicken taco - chipotle chicken, lettuce and pico de gallo. They brought in an impressive 575 votes.

Coming in second place was Donkey Taqueria, and in third place was Candado Tacos. If you haven't checked out any of our featured restaurants, we highly recommend it.

One lucky voter, Devin, even won a trip to Mexico on us! (And Modelo!)
