The IRS Started Sending Out Stimulus Deposits On Saturday

The IRS tweeted out Saturday that they deposited the first Economic Impact Payments, aka that $1,200 check, into taxpayers’ bank accounts.

Unfortunately, they didn’t deposit everyone’s payment, but they have at least started the “handing out of money” from the stimulus package that the government signed off on last month. Which a lot of us are hoping for that check/deposit to help pay the bills.

According to the IRS tweet, they’ll be continuing to issue checks and deposits as fast as they can. I'm really glad they've at least started the process. There’s also  a website you can check out for updates as well; irs.gov/coronavirus
