Bob Seger has had an amazing career that began performing in high schools, bars and some of the largest arenas around the United States. Soon Seger will take the first of many final bows at Van Andel Arena.

According to WZZM, Seger has been performing live for 56 years and will begin his final tourn in Grand Rapids November 21st.

Seger, who is 73, will do his final tour with the Silver Bullet Band a six month run that will be the final page of a legendary singer/song writer that began when he was in his teens in southeastern Michigan.

Seger says he may spend some time in the studio recording but the days of his touring career will end on this run.

As of right now there is no Detroit show on the list but with the tour adding more dates it would make sense to wrap up the final tour with a show or shows in the Motor City.

Fan club pre-sale for Van Andel Arena will start September 25th with tickets going on sale to the public September 28.

Seger has an amazing catalog of music for all ages and although it will be sad to see him take that final bow, especially for us Michiganders, but worth every penny.
