The “Bacon And Eggs” Playground At Woodland Mall Is Going Away

This feels weird to get sentimental about, but then again I’ve never got to do any cereal bowl climbing.

Woodland Mall announced on Facebook that the “Bacon and Eggs” play area would be retiring soon after many years.  The comments below the announcement say it’s been there 15-20 years, which is a long time for the breakfast playground to last, so it’s time for something new.

Woodland Mall says they have moved it for it’s remaining days to the JC Penny’s wing, so if you want to get one more banana slide in or whatever it is you’d do on the bacon, then you better make a trip to Woodland Mall.

A new play area is scheduled to open at the mall this summer.  The one piece of advice I’d give, just by reading the comments, don’t build a tree like at Rivertown; parents apparently don’t like climbing after their kids? I’m guessing.  I don’t have kids, so I think treehouses are cool.
