The Detroit Lions have their first two season games under their belt, but a player from Hudsonville, Michigan, made the highlights with one catch in both games.

The Lions lost their first game to the Green Bay Packers 27-13, but bounced back in week 2 against another division rival the Chicago Bears winning 52-21. Two important games with significantly different outcomes.

TeSlaa was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2025 in the third round. He earned a spot on the team after a solid training camp.

Two One-Handed Catches Put TeSlaa In The Spotlight

In the first game of the season, when the Lions lost to division rival the Green Bay Packers, TeSlaa was only in for one play of the game where he caught a pass from Jared Goff for a touchdown. For a rookie receiver this one handed catch became the Lions first highlight of the season.

In the second game of the season against the Chicago Bears, the Lions showed they meant business by winning with a score of 52-21. TeSlaa again was only in the game for one play and he pulled down another incredible one-handed catch.

So, it's been two games, with two passes, and TeSlaa only needed one hand each time to catch the ball. See the highlight here.
