Teacher Busted After Paying 14-Year-Old Student $28K To Keep Quiet About Their Sexual Affair

I often ask myself why this never happened to me as a kid but I am kind of glad..or am I?

A Dallas middle school teacher has been arrested after allegedly paying a 14-year-old male student to keep their sexual relationship private.  The student's parents and police were initially tipped off after his mother found text messages on his phone which apparently showed that he was blackmailing the teacher to keep quiet.  The teacher paid the student $28,000 before their secret became public.

The teacher is now facing a felony charge of an improper relationship between an educator and a student and is currently on administrative leave.
