‘I’m Not a Young Man Anymore,’ a previously unreleased live track by the Velvet Underground, has hit the web. The live version was recorded at the Gymnasium venue in New York on April 30, 1967. It's rumored to be the only time the Velvets performed the song in concert.

Way back when, Kirk Hammett told Rolling Stone that Metallica would be entering the studio for two weeks to record material. However, he said it wouldn't be "100% Metallica." Well, the world now knows what Hammett meant. It was announced that Metallica would be releasing an album that they did with former Velvet Underground legend Lou Reed.
