A child playing near Roseswood Elementary School in Jenison was approached by a stranger Sunday night who attempted to get the child to leave with him.

Police are investigating an incident that took place Monday night at a playground at the Evergreen Mobile Home Community on North State Road in Ionia County. WZZM-13 reports that two children say that around 7p.m. a man approached them and asked them if they wanted to ride in his van.
