Sixx: A.M.

Ask and ye shall receive! A little over a year ago this time Nikki Sixx shared his desire to record music with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and now it appears as though Hawkins got word and will actually turn up on the next Sixx: A.M. album.

Nikki Sixx has had his hands full with multiple projects in 2013. The bassist reveals Sixx: A.M. is putting the finishing touches on a new album due out in 2014.

While many may have figured that 2013 would be when we'd see new Motley Crue music, it turns out that Nikki Sixx also has plans for his other band as well. According to a new posting on the Sixx: A.M. Facebook page offered by Sixx himself, the group is looking to release a new album next year.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx may hold some sort of record when it comes to turning something negative into a positive. Sixx found success with his memoir 'The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star' in 2007, and now the bassist has revealed that he'll be turning the book into a Broadway play.

Nikki Sixx is a man who wears many hats. Not only is he the bassist and songwriter for Motley Crue and Sixx: A.M., he's also a radio host, author and master of social media.

Sixx: A.M. may have another hit on their hands with "Lies of the Beautiful People", but don't expect the trio to hit the road in the near future. Vocalist (and Holland native) James Michael says that Sixx: A.M. are not your typical band.
