Driving through Muskegon one day quite a few years back, I came across this place. It was the first digital camera I ever owned so I was taking pictures of everything. Of all the years that I had that digital camera (eventually the zoom broke), this was one of the best pictures I ever took!

At WGRD, we were recently updated with a awesome new studio with some state-of-the-art tech and audio equipment. It's really cool! However, when I stumbled into Johnnie Walker's office today, I couldn't help but notice a 'Tech Relic' that if kids saw today, they would wonder what the hell it was.

I still pride myself on the fact that I get the opportunity to interview pretty much any metal band I want. From super famous ones to metal bands that are still finding their place in the genre. Up and comers to the metal circuit is Huntress. They have 2 albums to date at this point and Jill Janus sure knows how to wail. A couple of years ago, I was able to interview them.

This coming November, the almighty GWAR is coming back to The Intersection. New lead vocalist and all! I will never forget the first time I saw GWAR...it was quite the show!

There are so many shows coming to the Grand Rapids area, and they are all going to be glorious! Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, GWAR, You Me At Six, etc. There are just a buttload of shows coming! One of them though is one I have been waiting on for years and it's finally happening!

Lately I have been playing a lot of games that most people would consider me 'not hardcore' gamer. Lot's of Nintendo games like Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, and pretty much anything classic. Last night, I just had the feeling I wanted to sit horribly close to a tube TV, grab my old players guide, and just play through the original Legend of Zelda. You know what? Winter is just around the corner and being cold outside sucks. What do you do when the weather sucks? You go Bowling! It's that time of the year again where we take bowlers of all experience and get your team of 4 signed up for the GRD Bad Bowlers league!

While it seems like everyone in the world was at Rihanna & Eminem at Comerica Park (Which was sold out by the way), I was up at DTE Energy Music Theatre seeing some awesome rock performed live by two of the most known bands in music. Def Leppard and the almighty KISS!

Why do I enjoy owning crappy games? Honestly, I really don't have an explanation on that. Maybe cause I like to collect strange and odd video games? Well here is one that sticks out like a soar thumb among collectors. Along with pretty much anything that ended up on Virtual Boy.
