As a warm-up for their opening slot for Metallica on Aug. 20, Avenged Sevenfold played a free show at Minneapolis’ First Avenue venue.

On Monday, Avenged Sevenfold announced that their new drummer would be named on Wednesday. They've been working with the new skinsman for over a year, since letting Arin Ilejay go.
