Whether you watched World Series game one or not, a base was stolen and that means you earned yourself a free taco.

For ten years now, Taco Bell has offered a free taco for every stolen base during the World Series. You didn't have to wait too long in order to claim your free taco this time around. Atlanta Brave Ozzie Albies stole second base in the first inning of game one of the World Series. Man, that was fast.

There's nothing like a second baseman stealing the base he normally protects. And now, all of West Michigan along with the rest of America benefit by getting a free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco. Just know that there will be a specific date that will be announced for when you can claim your free taco from Taco Bell. Nothing like having one free taco in the bank.

According to WOOD, Taco Bell struck a deal with the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum for an idea that came straight out of left field. The actual base that was stolen by Albies will be sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum to be put on display in Cooperstown, New York. The base will be on display telling the story of Taco Bell's "steal a base, steal a taco" promotion.

I'm not really sure that a Taco Bell promotion is Baseball Hall of Fame material but kudos to whoever negotiated that deal.

The great news about the stolen base is, you don't have to be a Braves or Houston Astros fan to enjoy a free taco.

Not a bad first game either between Atlanta and Houston with the Braves coming up with the 6-2 win over the Astros.

Hopefully, more bases will be stolen, because that means more free tacos you and me.
