October is the month of pink. It's the month where we show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness and you can show yours simply by drinking a beer!

Bellaire-based Short's Brewing Company are partnering with The Pink Fund to raise money for their organization. The Pink Fund,

...provides 90-day non-medical cost-of-living expenses to breast cancer patients in active treatment, so they can focus on healing and returning to the workplace.

While October is normally dedicated to breast cancer, the fight never stops. Short's will be extending their promotion all through November as well. Between October 1 and November 30 Short's will donate $1 from every sale of Soft Parade to The Pink Fund. You can order a Soft Parade the next time you're at a restaurant or pick up some at the store. All you have to do is upload your receipt for proof of purchase.

The promotion is good on any size or any amount that Soft Parade comes in. It can be redeemed at any place the beer is served or distributed.

Soft Parade just happens to be one of my top favorite beers so I know what I will be ordering the next time I'm craving a beer. And, NO! It's not because it has a whopping 7.5% ABV, although an added bonus.

Soft Parade is one of the brewery's most popular beers and for good reason... it tastes so good. It's described as a

...Fruit Ale brewed with pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.

The ingredients result in a pink-colored beer with a refreshingly sweet (but not too sweet) flavor.

The Pink Fund is nonprofit charity organization based out of Bloomfield Hills, MI so not only are you helping those with breast cancer, but those right here in our state.
