Stone Temple Pilots are scheduled to headline Rock The Rapids, the six day festival taking place August 8-13 in downtown Grand Rapids. JT and Dahmer sat down with Rock The Rapids founder Denny Baxter to discuss the lineup, as well as Dahmer's history with STP frontman Scott Weiland.

Rock The Rapids will be located on the parking lot behind Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids, moving from its home for the last two years, Fifth Third Ballpark. Baxter explained that the move was made to keep the time frame consistent year after year and not interfere with the West Michigan Whitecaps' schedule.

"I couldn't have a festival that one year at the end of July and that the next year is in the middle of August and the year after that the first part of September," Baxter said. "Second issue is that you can only play so many concerts on that field before you start tearing it up."

Ticket prices start at $29 and are available on the official Rock The Rapids website. Six-day and two-day passes are also on sale for $79 and $39, respectively.
