Policeman Loses Battle With Turkeys On Michigan Road [Video]

When its mating season for wild turkeys, nothing you can do can keep them apart, as this Michigan officer found out the hard way.

A traffic snarl was created by battling male turkeys near Riverview over the weekend, and this poor police officer was caught on Tik Tok trying to diffuse the situation using his jacket to shoo the birds away.

I'm not sure whether the male birds mistook the jacket for a female bird and got super excited, or thought it was another male competitor, but wither way this poor office got more than he bargained foe before he eventually got the birds off the road.

One woman earlier tried to lead the turkeys away by throwing bread at them, but they just ate the bread and then attacked her. Traffic was backed up for almost a mile before this officer arrived.
