Paul Simon Breaks the News of Muhammad Ali’s Death During a Concert [Video]

During his concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, Calif. Friday night, Paul Simon was in the middle of the Simon & Garfunkel hit "The Boxer" when he paused to tell the crowd that boxing legend Muhammad Ali had passed away.

Simon said, "I’m sorry to tell you this way, but Muhammad Ali has passed away." The crowd was audibly upset after Simon made the announcement during the encore. Simon then continued on with the song, with the crowd singing along.
