Nintendo Is Remaking Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow for 3DS [Video]

In a recent presentation, Nintendo announced that it will be remaking Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow for the Nintendo 3DS, and it will be available on February 27, 2016.

Relatedly, thousands of full-grown adults suddenly want a 3DS for Christmas.

According to Nintendo, the games are being made as close to the originals as possible, but battling with friends and trading Pokemon can now happen wirelessly (no link cable required!). Whether or not the Missingno and rare candy glitches will appear in the remake has not been announced.
