A new ghost restaurant has opened in Grand Rapids, Michigan, called Li Grand Zombi.

When I saw this, I was thinking, what the heck is a ghost restaurant and apparently I missed learning a new pandemic term.

Most of you probably know, but for those like me who don't, a ghost restaurant is a restaurant that business owners created when their normal dine in restaurant was shut down due to the state shutdown orders to slow the spread of COVID-19. A ghost restaurant was a way a business could keep going with take out orders and keep some of their employees working.

Many of the areas ghost restaurants are doing very well and a lot of business owners plan on keeping them going as a second business.

According to WOOD, the latest ghost operation to get rolling opened up inside the kitchen of City Built Brewing Company. Each week they roll out a different New Orleans style dish. The meals are available by pick up or delivery through Grubhub, DoorDash and Uber Eats.

CEO and founder of City Built Brewing Edwin Collazo said, "its a good way to take a walk down a Creole food road just by visiting us on a weekly basis."

City Build Brewing Company planning on keeping Li Grand Zombi going through the summer but for now you can order Thursdays 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturdays noon to 10 p.m.

Meals range between $18 and $22 but there is enough in each meal to feed two people unless your a raging Cajun.
