Wood TV 8 reports that E’lla’s Art Gallery & Community Center at the corner of Division and Burton held its Grand Opening over the weekend.

Owner E’lla Webber tells Wood TV 8 that she hopes the gallery provides the southwest side with something unique:

I want them to have a feeling of happiness, joy; I want them to feel good when they leave from this place,” ... I’m a community person. I want all races, all forms of art; I just want it to be a big art blast here.

Different artists work, and Webber's own work are on display at the new gallery at 2009 S. Division Ave.

According to the gallery's Facebook page, its open Monday through Saturday 9a.m. to 5p.m.

You can also book a personal oil painting and painting parties at E'lla's Art Gallery and Community Center. You can find contact information here.
