My Experience at Producer Joe’s Bachelor Party This Weekend [PIC]

Producer Joe’s bachelor party was this weekend.  As we talked about on the air for the last few weeks, it was a weekend-long bachelor party.  The festivities got underway sometime on Friday and continued straight through to Sunday.

Originally, my plan was to go down on Friday night because we had a station event on Saturday that was supposed to go a little late.  After Joe insisting on the air that Saturday was the night to be there, I rearranged some things and planned to go down on Saturday instead.

Around 9:30PM, I met up with a couple of the guys from the station and we hit the road.  We got down there around 10:15, only to be greeted by four dudes in a hot tub.  We were informed that a bunch of people had just left for the casino.  We made our way in to the house, which resembled the remnants of a fantastic party.  Beer cans everywhere, half-eaten hot dogs on the floor, and passed out people everywhere.

But where was Joe?

A couple of friends showed us the way to the bachelor himself.  And this is what I saw.

Turns out ‘ol Joe had been passed out for about 3 hours at this point.  It apparently took a team of men to wrestle him in to bed after he had passed out by the lake.  It then took a few other guys to install his space helmet breathing apparatus on to his head.

We had planned to stay the night, but instead, spent about an hour and a half there because everyone was already passed out.  But judging by the photo above, Joe had a great time and that’s all that matters at a bachelor party.

Congrats, buddy.  Looking forward to the wedding.
