College Surplus Stores
Most major universities have a surplus of items each year that don’t sell in their campus stores. Schools produce a lot of merchandise with their logos on it and often have to clear out leftover items to make room for new merchandise for the next year's students and fans.
At the end of each school year, some colleges have giant rummage sales of all the items left behind by students. I worked in Indiana for 18 years near Notre Dame, and each year they would sell all the bicycles and furniture left behind by the students; the deals were unbelievable.

U of M, MSU, and Grand Valley all have programs similar to Notre Dame, but Michigan State University also has an online surplus store that is open year-round.
MSU Surplus Store Sells Antiques, Tech & More
A co-worker of mine tipped me off at Michigan State University Surplus Store and Recycling. She purchased a book called The Yesterdays of Grand Rapids by Charles E. Belknap. She ordered this book, written in 1922. That's where I found a goldmine of new and pre-owned items.
I found a MacBook Pro for $400. There are plenty of books to read, comic books, vintage football programs, and even an antique horse-drawn metal carriage. There are many tech items, both new and used.
The MSU Surplus Store offers antiques, clothing, furniture, and more, available for purchase in-store or online.

You might be surprised at what you may find. Go Spartans!
