Michigan will be smelling extra pretty this weekend as two different Lavender Festivals will be taking over.

The first one is the Original Michigan Lavender Festival in Imlay City from Thursday, 7/11 - Saturday 7/13. This is the 17th year of the festival and in addition to the lavender field you can expect:

  • Live Music
  • Glamping Village
  • Artist Workshops
  • Free Educational Classes such as cooking with lavender, relaxing in a lavender lounge & meeting a lavender farmer
  • Free Aroma Yoga
  • Serenity & Oxygen Bars
  • DIY Workshops
  • Children's Activity Barn
  • Food trucks
  • Over 150 vendors
  • plus so much more!!

& don't forget to try the lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream... yum!!

The Original Michigan Lavender Festival is at Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds and costs $7 for admission, free for kids 12 and younger. Get more info here.

The other is Blake's Lavender Festival held at their Cider Mill in Armada from Friday, 7/12 through Sunday 7/14. Blake's will have:

  • Free classes, speakers & demonstrations
  • DIY Workshops
  • Plant sales
  • Children's activities
  • Lavender-infused food and drinks
  • Yoga & meditation
  • Over 100 vendors
  • plus more!
