Michigan Trailer Park is Themed After TV Show Dallas
Do you remember the old TV series "Dallas?" A trailer park in Kalazmaoon, Michigan, is themed after the TV series with street names and a clubhouse that looks familiar.
Dallas TV Series
When I was a little kid my mom and me would watch the TV series Dallas on CBS every Friday night. The main character was J.R. Ewing played by actor Larry Hagman some of you older viewers may remember from the show I Dream of Jeanie.
Dallas was about an affluent and feuding Texas family the Ewings. On the show, the Ewings owned a Texas independent oil company Ewing Oil. Much of the TV series was filmed in the house above called Southfork Ranch. Bobby Ewing was J.R.s brother who married a family enemy member Pamela Barns.
The show was great at ending seasons with cliffhangers like the "Who Shot J.R.?" The show ran from 1978 to 1991 with the character J.R. being the only character who appeared in every episode.

Kalamazoo Trailer Park is Themed After "Dallas" TV Series
What looks like a normal trailer park from above has a different tale once you zoom in on the street names. Every street in the Fountain Springs trailer park is named after a character from the TV series Dallas. There is Ewing Way, Southfork Blvd, J.R. Dr, Bobby Dr, Miss Ellie Dr, Pamela Ct, and more. If you watched the show, you will know the characters the roads were named after.
Even the clubhouse of Fountain Springs is modeled after the Ewing mansion called Southfork which you see a few pictures above.
I don't have cable or satellite TV but maybe you can find the Dallas TV series on Netflix or if you have a Roku TV you probably find it there for sure. If you want to locate the Dallas-themed trailer park, Fountain Springs is located at 1410 South 9th Street, in Kalamazoo, and maybe someone will remember who shot J.R.
