UPDATE (4/18/17 12:00 p.m.): Suspected 'Facebook Killer' Steve Stephens has been found dead in Erie, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania State Police took to Twitter Tuesday to report that Stephens shot and killed himself following a brief pursuit.

[ORIGINAL STORY] The search continues Monday for Steve Stephens, a man wanted for murdering an elderly man in cold blood in Cleveland Sunday.

Stephens, 37, is described as 6'1", weighing 244 pounds, bald with a full beard, wearing a dark striped polo shirt. Police consider Stephens to be armed and dangerous, and warn people not to approach him if they see him. If you see him, call 911 immediately.

Stephens is believed to be driving a white Ford Fusion with the temporary tag E363630.

WZZM-13 reports that there has been a lot of misinformation swirling around about Stephens. So much so that the Cleveland Police Department has issued a warning, calling misinformation in cases such as these "dangerous".

Additionally, WKYC reports that while initial reports stated that Stephens streamed the murder live on Facebook, that claim is false. They say that officials from Facebook told them that Stephens did upload a live video to Facebook on Sunday, but the video was not of the murder.
