Meet The 12 Players From The State of Michigan Selected In The 2026 NFL Draft
The hype around the NFL Draft has soared in recent years, with cities throwing massive, multi-day celebrations. Detroit set the record for attendance in 2024, but this year's draft in Pittsburgh broke that record once more, with a stunning 320,000 fans in attendance.

Through seven rounds of the draft, 257 players were selected from all around the country, and a number of these players were drafted here from the state of Michigan. So before we turn our sights to September, let's see which players from Michigan are now living out their dream in the NFL.
Derrick Moore (EDGE) - University of Michigan
Derrick Moore, from Baltimore, spent four years at the University of Michigan. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions with the 44th pick in the draft, and the Lions are looking to give Aidan Hutchinson some help on the other side of the defensive line.
Caleb Banks (DT) - Detroit, MI / University of Florida
The Detroit native was selected as the 18th pick in the draft after a successful career at Florida and Louisville.
Marlin Klein (TE) - University of Michigan
The prospect from Germany spent four years as a Wolverine and will now spend time with the Houston Texans after being selected by the Texans with the 59th pick in the draft.
Jaishawn Barham (EDGE) - University of Michigan
Barham was drafted by the Cowboys 92nd after spending four years in Michigan as both an edge rusher and a linebacker. According to ESPN, the Cowboys are planning to play him as an edge rusher.
Caleb Tiernan (OT) - Livonia, MI
The Livonia native spent time at Wake Forest and Northwestern, and will now be heading to Minnesota after being selected 97th.
Jimmy Rolder (LB) - University of Michigan
The Lions selected their second player from the University of Michigan with the 118th pick in the draft.
Max Bredeson (TE) - University of Michigan
Max played five years at the University of Michigan from 2021 to 2025. The Wisconsin native is staying in the Midwest, as he is now a member of the Minnesota Vikings. He was the 159th pick.
Matt Gulbin (C) - Michigan State University
Golbin spent four years at Wake Forest before transferring to Michigan State, where, in his one season, he played 11 of his 12 games at center. Overall, he played 52 games, and as the 209th pick in the draft, he could play more under the Washington Commanders.
Ryan Eckley (P) - Michigan State University
Eckley averaged 48.5 yards per punt and is expected to make a positive impact with a rebuilding Baltimore Ravens team. He was the 211th pick in the draft.
Tommy Doman (P) - Rochester Hills, MI
Selected 239th in the 7th round, Rochester Hills native and former Florida Gator and Michigan Wolverine Tommy Doman was selected by the Buffalo Bills. As a Michigan native, Tommy should be no stranger to the snowy and chilly weather in Buffalo, NY.
Rayshaun Benny (DT) - University of Michigan
The Michigan native is headed to Baltimore after he was the 250th pick in the draft. He was a mainstay on the Wolverines for his four seasons, playing in 10+ three of the four seasons.
