
How Michigan Performed At The 2026 Winter Olympics
The 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics have officially wrapped up, capping off a whirlwind month that saw Norway take home the most medals, 41. The US won 12 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze medals, finishing second overall.

In an Olympics highlighted by tragic crashes, curling scandals, and new stars (Hi Alyssa), it ended on a high note with both men's and women's hockey beating Canada in OT for two thrilling Gold Medal matches (with both those goals coming from Michigan natives!).
Many of these medals wouldn't have been possible without key performances from Michigan natives, with multiple Michiganders taking home gold. So, let's see how each of the 15 Michiganders who participated in this year's winter Olympics finished in their respective events.
