Michigan Is One Of The Most Fun States In The Country
Attention fun lovers! You live in one of the top 20 fun states in the country! WalletHub.com has put together a ranking of the Most Fun States in 2019 and we are more fun than most.
Sure, we are only ranked 18th in the nation (which we should totally be higher), but we did beat out some seemingly fun states like Hawaii (#25) and North Carolina (#20).
Michigan's rankings were all pretty average, except for in one key category. Golf courses per capita! Michigan has the most golf courses and country clubs per capita. Pretty crazy, huh? So, if you are a fan of golf, then you live in the right place!
One sad, and obviously not true, finding from the survey is that Ohio is actually ranked somewhat significantly higher than Michigan. That can't be true. Ohio smells bad, it's universities and professional sports team all suck and smell bad, and their major cities all suck and smell bad.

WalletHub used two key categories, “Entertainment & Recreation” and “Nightlife” to determine the rankings. Those two categories were further broken down into a couple of dozen metrics that were individually weighted in the survey. You can read more about their methodology here.
