MI Gun Thieves Kidnap Store Manager To Steal 120 Handguns
Michigan gun thieves continue to go to new levels when trying to steal firearms but kidnapping a store manager is taking gun theft to a whole new level.
Stealing Guns in Michigan
Since guns were invented people have been stealing them in the state of Michigan.
For the last couple of years, several area gun stores in West Michigan have been broken into. Thieves have broken in through doors, and windows, and have even crashed vehicles into buildings containing guns doing something that is called a smash-and-grab.
Smash and grabs are nothing new since this type of stealing has gone on as long as there have been storefronts. Some gun thieves in Southwest Michigan have taken stealing guns to a whole new level.
Gun Thieves Follow Store Manager Home Abduct at Gunpoint to Steal Guns
A pair of gun thieves have really gotten brazen by following a store manager of a Dunhams in Benton Harbor home, abducting him at gunpoint, and forcing him to help the thieves steal over 120 handguns. This is a little too ballsy and sounds like something out of an episode of TV's Law & Order.
I have seen Yeti coolers used for a variety of things like keeping beverages and food supplies cold, and packing wild game, or fish caught, but hauling guns is a first.
According to WOOD, two men who allegedly kidnapped a Dunham's store manager at gunpoint and swiped over 120 handguns in Benton Harbor have been captured. The two men blindfolded, handcuffed, and interrogated the manager about the store's alarm and security features. Court records indicated that Darnell Divon Bishop and Dontrell Damon Nance are the two suspects looking at a host of federal crimes that could land the pair in prison for decades.
