Metalhead Ned Gets an Addictive Virus from Dr. Mario

You may or may not have heard of my podcast that I am a part of called The SNaCK, but were a bunch of gaming/comic book/movie nerds. We enjoy talking about anything from our childhoods and today's stuff as well. Since we love the old school stuff, we love to play old Nintendo games.

Lately though, we caught a virus, and that virus is Dr. Mario.

I never really liked this game that much as a kid, but as an adult, I can appreciate on a whole new level. I will admit, I am not very good, but I enjoy playing and watching it.

Lately the thing at our SNaCK headquarters has been playing a video game after our initial recording. WiiU, being the most popular game console in our minds at this time is our go-to game console. Sure, we have Mario Kart 8 & Super Smash Bros WiiU, but something about the old school Dr. Mario is really captivating us right now.

Not only us though, a few of our friends are even practicing the game to get better! I must admit, I am one of these people too. Something in my brain is clicking and I want to get better at Dr.Mario!

I have all of these new games with stunning graphics, online capability, etc. What do I go for? Old school Dr. Mario.

I don't know how long I will be stuck on this, but I imagine it will pass eventually. For now though, it's awesome to see my friends gather around an old game again.
