According to Fox17, Meijer is recalling the Ultimate Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies brand it sells after finding out it contains soy.

The grocer issued the voluntary recall after realizing soy was an ingredient but wasn’t properly displayed on the packaging.  The fear is only for people who have a soy allergy or sensitivity.

Fox17 says only around 720 packages of the cookies were sold from February 13th through the 20th and they were sold in all Meijer stores.

The product is packaged in a clear plastic container with a clamshell seal. This only affects products with the following UPCs sold between February 13, 2019 and February 20, 2019:

  • Ultimate Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies – 12 Count. UPC: 0-41250-14563-9

  • Ultimate Chocolate Mint Chip Cookies – 20 Count: UPC: 0-41250-14564-6

No one’s gotten sick, Meijer decided to recall the product after noticing that it wasn’t properly labeled for the soy ingredient. If you have the cookies, take them back to Meijer for a refund.
