Two days after opening ticket sales to members for their summer concert series, Meijer Gardens has announced 10 shows for the Tuesday Evening Music Club series which will begin June 4.

Summer concert series tickets went on sale on Saturday morning, by Sunday morning 10 shows were sold out.

The Tuesday Evening Music Club concert series differs from the summer concert series in that it focuses on local and regional musicians. Shows are free for Meijer Gardens members and included with admission for other guests.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. for all Tuesday Evening Music Club shows and shows begin at 7:00 p.m.

This year's lineup:

June 4 - May Erlewine and The Motivations (original and soul classics)

July 2 - Roosevelt Diggs (folk/country/bluegrass/blues) and Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish (50s-style rock & roll)

July 9 - Big Sherb (mostly instrumental funk/fusion/progressive rock) and Paddlebots (progressive soul-pop)

July 16 - Matt Gabriel (singer-songwriter) and Kari Lynch Band (country-pop)

July 23 - Boy From School (electronic/indie rock/pop) and Manhattan (rock & roll with electronic/metal/jazz influences)

July 30 - Franklin Park (60s covers) and 6-Pak (all-girl band, 60s covers)

August 6 - The Hip Pocket (horn-heavy funk/r&b/soul/blues) and Soul Syndicate (r&b/soul classics)

August 13 - The River Rogues Jazz Band (traditional and dixieland jazz) and Sam’s Swing Band (full-size swing band, 30s/40s covers)

August 20 - Grand Rapids Ballet (mix of classical and contemporary ballets)

August 27 - Ralston & Friends (variety of performers)
