Maynard James Keenans Birthday Tour Will Come to Grand Rapids

Tool singer Maynard James Keenan has been doing a birthday tour called Sessanta featuring two of his other bands along with Primus and it is coming to Grand Rapids.

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has always been busy with his main band and other bands A Perfect Circle and Puscifer. Let's not forget he also owns and runs a wine business.

Keenan turned 60 on April 17, 2024, and to celebrate he put together a tour that is called Sessanta. The word Sessanta is the Italian word for 60.

The Sessanta Tour is unique because Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle are all on the stage at the same time taking turns performing songs from each of their catalogs. The Spring and Summer went so well that Keenan has launched a run for 2025 called Sessanta V 2.0 which will celebrate his 61st birthday.

The Sessanta V 2.0 Tour will stop in Grand Rapids on May 28th at Van Andel Arena. It will be the same lineup as before with Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle on stage together again the only difference will be Keenan will be 61 this time.

Tickets for the Sessanta tour go on sale Friday, September 20 at 10 a.m. There will be a pre-sale for Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle on Thursday, September 19 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The presale password is "979WGRD."
